The World Health Organization (WHO) states that 17.9 million people die each year of cardiovascular diseases and this is set to rise to 26 million by 2030; according to WHO 80% of premature heart attacks and strokes are preventable. We know that the majority of cardiovascular illness is due to dietary and lifestyle factors, many of which are modifiable and associated with obesity, stress and sedentary lifestyles.
Our 6-week heart health programme comprises of physical activity and dietary components, underpinned by behaviour change techniques.
Our approach blends mindset transformation models; healthy diet; coupled with the management of lifestyle factors stress, sleep, exercise to explain and chart the basic steps to improve the quality of life for those who have heart conditions.
With a College of Naturopathic Medicine qualified Nutrition Therapist (registered under British Association of Nutritional Therapists) and a registered NLP practitioner we deliver both one to one and group sessions on healthy eating, facilitating health improvement with a non-judgemental and motivational approach.
